Sebastian had been leaning slightly forward in anticipation, but he jerked back in shock, his mouth dropping partly open. Recovering himself, he cleared his throat in embarrassment. "So, uh, why do you change the way you look? I could understand if you were deformed or something, but, er, you're not."

"Because this is the face of a death eater. It reminds me of every bad thing I've done and makes me wonder of the bad things I have left to do." Kaalee sighed.

He nodded, his face serious. "That makes sense. But I just want to tell you that your past doesn't dictate who you are today and who you are tomorrow. Hakuna Matata, right?"

"But Seb I will do things. To protect my friends and the people I love." She said, smiling when he brought the Disney reference.
"I used to sneak out and go to the muggles theater when my father was away or locked away in his study. I saw that, it came to theaters as a digitally remastered film. It was awesome." She said, stumbling a bit on the muggle terms but smiling broadly.

"And that's different than the death eaters who do unthinkable things purely for their own enjoyment;. That's why you're a Gryffindor instead of a Slytherin. I refuse to believe that you're inherently evil, and the fact that you love the lion king just reinforces that for me." He grinned back at her, laughing quietly. "My little sister is absolutely in love with the lion king, and I swear I have the movie memorized because of how much she made me watch it over the summer hols."

"I translated the whole movie once on the internet. Turns out it's a real language." Kaalee laughed.

Seb laughed as well, tilting his head back. "Of course it's a real language, Kaalee! Did you think they were speaking gibberish?"

"Well.. maybe." Kaalee said, looking down to hide her blush

He bumped her shoulder with his, still chuckling. "Nah, don't be embarrassed. I once ate decorative grapes because I thought they were real."

Kaalee smiled.
"Oh! Hello Professor!" Kaalee said to the oddly marked cat of Professor McGonnagal.

Seb frowned and looked around, confused until he saw that cat. "Hullo, Professor. How can we help you?"

The cat gave them a look, one said behave before walking off.

"OI!" Seb called, an affronted expression on his face, "We weren't even doing anything, professor! Honestly, what a fun sponge," he added under his breath.

Kaalee just giggled at him.
"That will be all over the school. McGonnagal is the biggest gossip monger." Kaalee rolled her eyes.

"What will, that I called her a fun sponge or that we are," he leaned in conspiratorially, wiggling his eyebrows at her, "talking in the courtyard?"

"Both." She said, biting her lip o to stop laughing.

He paused, thinking, and then leaned back, nodding decisively, "Good. More power to her. Hogwarts gossip system has been way to calm recently, I was getting bored." Seb bave her a teasing smile, his hair ruffled by the soft breeze.

”Oh of course." Kaalee sighed.
"Sebastian and Kaalee sitting in.a tree, k I s s I n g!" Savannah yelled, her arms crossed over her chest.

Seb gave Kaalee an wicked grin and winked at her before schooling his face into an expression of disinterest. Turning to the yelling girl, he calmly flipped her off, drawling, "Well isn't this cute, someone's jealous. Love, really, you should probably do something about that--it's not flattering."

"I'm not jealous...I'm pissed that HALF MY TEAM IS MISSING FROM TONIGHTS PRACTICE." She screamed at him.

Sebastian swore, looking at his watch before giving his captain a thorough abashed look. "I'm so sorry, Savannah, I totally lost track of time. Ill run laps or whatever, no complaint." Seb scrambled to his feet, turning and grabbing Kaalee's hand. "We'll have to continue this some other time, yeah? I don't know how long Savannah will run over practice, but if you don't see me at dinner, call the MLE, cause I'm probably collapsed somewhere from overwork." With a jaunty salute and a crooked grin, he raced past savannah toward the quidditch pitch.

Savannah winked at Kaalee.
"I'm just shitting him...practice got delayed an hour due to the fact that there was fish fingers and custard." Savannah laughed before running after him.
